Uses fc-cache to refresh your font cache after installation and verify that ~/.font is managed.
Thanks for the reply. I actually solved this last week and can't recall what I was doing wrong. It was something really dumb on my part.
Don't know if .ttc is managed by fontconfig
Solved this one too; they seem to work just fine. I managed to get Fonty Python to find and display all the sub faces.
