You can add arrows at the ends of your line simply in the Fill & Stroke dialog window on its last tab "Stroke style"(this window shows up with ctrl+shift+f keyboard shortcut). There are 3 options: "Start/mid/stop markers", which add arrows and other defined marks to the start, middle(node points mostly) and end of the line you selected.
