This is the case not only to Fedora :)
however, the text editing dialog is really broken in this version which gives Inkscape users on F11 a bad experience and impression.

sure - (note this is pre0 I believe since the Fedora pakcage is dated in May or June): 1) when you click on and select a text box, and then click the text edit top bar button, no text appears in the editing tab 2) if clicking on the box such that you can edit in place - as you delete characters, the text box decreases, then when you type new characters, the text box does not increase and the characters overwrite each other
After restoring a bad hard drive, I will compile from daily source today and see where this issue is at.
