We've documented the environment variables in the inkscape man page,
although it's probably been a while since that was updated so is
probably missing a lot of info.  This wiki page looks much more
informative, nicely done!

Would you mind also copying the relevant text into the inkscape man

(Looks like the README in the inkscape/man/ dir also needs an update to
point to the inkscape-docs project in gitlab instead of the old bzr

The glib/gtk env var info you've collected would probably also be
extremely useful for testers & bug reporters, but I'm sure you already
thought all about that.  :-)

Yes, I noticed we have only one of the Inkscape-specific variables documented in the man page, so the other two should be added as well. (We actually have a few more, see comment in the Wiki source, but I think they're likely not relevant enough to be added in either list).

Does anybody know if "DISPLAY" and "TMPDIR" do belong into the man page or should they be removed while we're at it? They seem like generic Linux variables an aren't specific to Inkscape at all if I'm not mistaken.
