I found some big linking problems when trying to go to 4.4 (it's something with how

As soon as it came up with any issues I figured we wouldn't want to bundle an official version with it.  And all I did was GTK, not even updating g++.

Chris, If you see me on IRC or XMPP or Gtalk, give me a shout and we'll work on
updating the devlibs.
OK; just note that while this is great learning for me, I'm no expert in any of it at all.  My area of expertise is currently pretty much NSIS and PHP (but I'm working on it, currently by using GTK via PHP-GTK with Manta, shameless advertising, ain't it :-) )  While I'm willing to help, I can only do so much.

Chris,  I would fear there are to many hiden pitfalls if you do that.
I would suggest to wait until the 0.47 - and I definately want the gcc4.4 then.
That's what I'd decided.  Better missing tablet support than build broken in places.

Or is there any show blocker?
As mentioned... :-(
