Hi Bryce,

Should we start using 0.91pre* in the stable PPA? At the moment, there is no stable build available for recent Ubuntu releases because 0.48.4 won't build with recent GCC.

Alternatively, we can wait for 0.48.5 if/when it is released!

It would be helpful if packagers could generate binary platform packages
from this tarball.  If you spot packaging problems (like version numbers
that didn't get updated, or missing files needed for builds), please
raise these problems with me ASAP.
