Hello!
I am using Inkscape 20040618.
If I have a text object that is turned at some angle, exporting of this object as PNG causes the letters to be misplaced, like if the text was following a wavy curve.
Here are two examples:
snapshot1.png - this the drawing as seen on the canvas
snapshot2.png - this is the original exported image, you can see that the letters are not positioned on a single line as they were on the canvas
snapshot3.png - this is the same drawing except that the text object was converted to paths before being exported - you see that it looks just like it should, like on the canvas
The most obvious solution (or a workaround?) is to convert the fonts to paths before exporting. Is it a good solution to auto-convert the fonts to paths on every export?
