I had a cvs version of Inkscape running, and it would not have working flowtext... so that is problem number one.
well, the paragraphs aren't wrapped.
Number two is, that after downgrading to the Debian package my guides were at the wrong spot due to the change of units. Both really annoying...
This must not happen. Only initial zoom may change. Please submit a bug with a sample file.
no sample file left, I redid all the guides... note: I was downgrading!
Also I've noticed that quite often I just can't grab objects, to move them, but have to use the keyboard first, and then, after moving them a little, I can move them with the mouse. I've no idea, how to reproduce this, but it bothers me a lot, so maybe someone else has experienced this?
I did not notice anything like this. Again, more specifics and sample cases are necessary.
Bulia, I know, as you know, but it's really hard to provide an example for this. It happens frequently when I'm working with inkscape.
Another point, I noticed, when creating the icons, is that the scaling mechanism works kinda weird with objects with strokes... when you try to set a specific size, it will not work via snapping to guides nor via the tooloptions bar. Just try on very small scales... because that is where you'll notice.
Scaling to a size tries to fit the bbox to that size, but when calculating it assumes that the stroke will be scaled, so when it is not scaled by user preference, the result of the scaling is off. This is a known problem, if that is what you are referring to.
yeah, it is.
