What I've asked Nick to do is to factor out the blend/filter/blur/opacity metawidget, and put it in both the fill+stroke and the layers dialog. I think that should make everyone happy.
Seems like it's wasted space if you have both the Layer and the Fill & Stroke dialogs open all the time like I tend to. Then again, we don't have the above discussed objects dialog either, so no real complaints here. ;) One Q, can that widget set be collapsible? As in little arrow that hides/shows that part of the dialog?
Either way, I do want to request that one day when we have the object dialog that those widgets be omitted from it for the sake of saving screen real estate and also the "expected" behavior I mentioned in my last post. What are your thoughts on these mental?
