This is fixed now. Also, the snap is using 18.04 depends and should have better versions of GTK/etc. that we use now. The snap is built using Launchpad: https://launchpad.net/~ted/+snap/inkscape-master (https://link.getmailspring.com/link/1543245358.local-b03cc2d6-e393-v1.5.2-31...) Ted
