I agree that cycling between modes in a complex document isn't cool, but then I, for instance, don't use wireframe mode very often, and I'd love to be able to switch between Normal and No FIlters.
What do other people think?
I recently ran into that myself, the needing to toggle only between normal and no filters mode. So for me a configuration of what modes are enabled when toggling seems like the best solution, especially if we end up getting other modes down the road (such as no AA).
