That may be because they're downloaded more often (2518 downloads of 0.42 autopackage vs 853 static rpms).
RPMs just aren't capable of dealing with the mess that Linux has become, really, the format isn't flexible enough. It'd be great if Kees could help out with the Inkscape autopackages as they meet the same need but more people are working on it. Kees? Are you still around?
