Makes my contributing easier --- I got a wiki account, but never remember my password --- it's stored in my e-mail archive on my other computer at work.

It could also be a inkscape-community Git*b project with really lax
rules for committing. There we get to lean on Git*b for spam control
and user account management and can also elevate users to other
permissions if they'd like to edit other things.
