Sounds like we should do a quick round of new discussion on this. Not necessarily to reach a different conclusion, but rather to refresh the details for capturing in a Web/wiki page.

I'll run through the past discussions on my archive and then start a new thread with a summary.

lib2geom uses Google Test, btw.
