Objet : [Inkscape-devel] hack-tweaking a filter ?

A lot of the fancy filters do not have any user parameters;  i am looking at
Filters -> Materials -> Gold splatter, for example.

How can I tweak the colors this produces ?  (the "gold" is too green for my
purposes)

Is it a python extension script? I'm failing to find that in the extensions
directory.

thanks.
