Hi, I just downloaded and installed Inkscape-0.48.3.1-1.exe on Windows 7 (32 bit). The install went very smoothly, thanks for preparing and uploading it! The uninstall of the previous version, 0.48.2, was a bit unusual. In the middle of the uninstall, after deleting part of the \share\ subdirectories, I got the dreaded Windows message saying "Inkscape has stopped working", which is not very informative. The uninstall program spontaneously aborted here. The Control Panel indicated that Inkscape was no longer present, but there were a large number of files that had not yet been deleted, so I manually deleted them, and then re-installed uneventfully. The good news was that there were a few personal directories underneath \Inkscape\ that I left there just as a test and they survived the uninstall/reinstall so I was quite pleased, because I got into the habit of doing this a long time ago, and old habits die hard.
