By the way... yesterday I tested SVN with the latest libraries on XP and the problem with dialogs not minimizing with the main window is finally gone! The GTK guys finally resolved it. This means we can finally remove the win-only switch in prefs which is marked as "experimental" (making it always on) and thus finally leave this dialogs-on-top windows nightmare behind us. Joel, while you're at it, can you please take care of this fix in SVN _and_ in 0.46? Also, we need to add a big and prominent mention of this to the release notes!
That's good news! That's been one of my personal bug-bears ever since I first started using inkscape. I've already applied the patch to trunk, but I'm going to need one of the release wardens to apply the patch to the branch, then I'll happily write a release note.

Hi All,
I've just fixed a very minor problem with the print dialog which
allowed it
to fall underneath the inkscape desktop window in Win32. I've

applied the change to trunk, but I'm just wondering should this fix
be
applied to the 0.46.X series of branches? If so, can someone do that
for me.
Sure, I think it should be in 0.46.0 if it's windows-only.
