[Inkscape-devel] Big Files

Hi,

I made some bigger SVG files and noticed that inkscape needs some improvements.

Here how I made the files: - exported a map from xrmap to eps - converted the eps file with pstoedit to xfig - used sketch/skencil to convert the xfig file to svg

and here comes my wish list to the inkscape developers: 1) More import plugins. 2) A progressbar while opening files. 3) Speed up the file loading.

Perhaps someone can even look into xrmap and add a SVG export.
