Hello,

Re. the message below, I'd like to confirm that there is (probably) a bug in the "select all" fonction when "Edit Node" tool is used.

To show that (and the change of behaviour of Inkscape), I've put in a screencast two versions of Ink+Dev:

- On the left,  Inkscape 0.46+devel, built Jun  4 2008
- On the right, Inkscape 0.46+devel, built Jul 28 2008

http://www.corpsmoderne.net/~eve97/vertex/inkscape_select_all_bug.swf.html
or the swf directly:
http://www.corpsmoderne.net/~eve97/vertex/inkscape_select_all_bug.swf

The behaviour on the left is the "usual" one, which has always occured, as far as I know, in 0.45 and 0.46 releases.

As stated in my first message, the "strangeness" already happened in
Inkscape 0.46+devel, built Jul 16 2008

Could this be reverted to the "normal" behaviour"?
Thanks !

Hello,

In Inkscape 0.46+devel, built Jul 16 2008, on Windows 2000, the Node tool is broken:

You can't select the type of node at all if no handles are shown on the node. (i.e. select a newly drawn node and apply a type to it).

When handles have been dragged out of the node, then you can select the node type in the toolbar.

This is a change of behaviour from before.

Regards
