Thanks for the explanation !
Below is why it's important to put the latest one (rev. 22183) into the release. I also added color interpolation to every filter :

Hello Bulia,
I have sent my final filters.svg version to Tavmjong Bah which will clean it up (partly) with the script he made to correct some errors regarding svg specs. I tested intermediate versions of my file corrected by this script and they run flawlessly. Thus I am confident in committing this kind of corrected version.
Hi,
I've attached Ivan's final filter.svg after being cleaned up by my script. The changes can be summarized as:
Removing illegal attribute (196 times, 147 were for blend="normal") Adding missing required attribute in2 (104 times) Adding missing in2 and adding missing result needed by in2 (99 times)
The cleaned up file passes the W3C markup validation test. All the filters can be processed by Batik without crashing (about 10% don't render correctly). And all the filters work with PNG export in Inkscape.

Chris,
The version on SourceForge I built on my own from the tar.gz. source. Could you please check what are the differences to yours?
Thanks, Adib.

That's just the build - not when pre2 was released. I build pre2-2 after pre2-1, after fixing up some of the devlibs. 0.47pre2 was released before that. Builds came later, that's all.

My Inkscape tell me he is from 2 September ;) Inkscape 0.47pre2 , built Sep 2 2009 (Inkscape-0.47pre2-2.exe)
I remember I download this version from a link on this mailing list ..

That is a later revision than pre2, so it won't be going into pre2.

Hi Bulia,
I noticed that the filters.svg in Pre2-1 for Windows isn't the latest one.
That should be this one :
