I've been in contact with the main author, and have been looking at ways to interoperate.

One thing is a common format. The base .gpl palette files are one way, but not sufficient for our needs as ICC support goes in. Another is the need for a scheme within there, etc.

Also, nice drag-n-drop compatibility is another way to share.

Overall, I think that as soon as we get things with reasonable workflow, GNOME Colorscheme can pick up supporting them.
