I just put in a first-cut of menus for the toolbar spinbuttons. You should be able to get them from the "more" menu when there is not enough room to show the spinbutton on the toolbar, and also by right-clicking on the spinbutton itself.
Thanks, looks excellent! This nicely solves the problem of how to make the hidden-items menu useful, and makes the visible spinbuttons more usable than before. I like the idea of automatically adding the current value +/- the increment step, but in addition to that we need a way to add some stock values too. For example, for -1..1 spinbuttons, 0 is a special value which is often used, and it must be in the menu always. Also, as we dicussed, 2 or 3 MRU values should be there too. (Of course, if one of the stock values coincides with one of the automatically generated increments or MRU values, they should merge). And finally, again as we discussed, there must be a way to provide explanatory comments for certain values: when you open the menu and see "0 (constant width)" instead of just "0", it gives you an immediate idea of what this spinbutton controls and how to use it, thus flattening the learning curve.
