Is part of the spec:

Hi Ivan!
Maybe we can disable the filter to calculate bounding box without filter or create a method noFilterBoundingBox() if seems a good idea. Anyway is a think need big test so maybe is better tar5ger it to 0.93.
One thing about filters that can be on 0.92 is X and Y (offset) position of feImage, this allow move the linked image arround the document, allowing to do things too much more easy like create a eraser element and positioning the zone to erase. It only need put X and Y to feImage primitive, so no string freeze problem. Please ping me if is a good idea.

Hi Jabier, When I play with filters I always use geometrical bounding box because of that. I don't know if this is really an svg spec. The filters need often a lot of room to develop their effects. I tried to give each one the most convenient space around. Sometimes it's fairly large ! I hope that can help, ivan

Hi to all, playing with filters I notice usualy filters apply a 1.20 scale to the area of the effect with a negative ofset to center it. This is good for some filters but not for all, if I change it to 1.0 in a element, the effected element loose his bounding box in the stroke part -geometric bounds- is posibol to fix it to visual bounds or is a problem with the SVG spec?
Cheers, Jabier.
PD. Thanks to the person fix the linked image filter!
