I haven't done anything Inkscape related for just less than 12 months after falling ill and succumbing to work pressure last year, but I do occasionally look in.

I managed to compile SVN 20711 - tried this first as it was the last nightly that worked. But then I was able to SVN to the latest revision 20795 today and it built without fault. As many other are saying the icons are half missing, but apart from that there weren't any immediately obvious problems.

I believe the nightlies are built using a cross compiler on linux, and therefore sometimes the nightlies still build even when it doesn't build on Win32 and sometimes Win32 builds even when the nightlies don't, as seems to be the case now.

If you are volunteering, please go ahead.

At the moment we really only have a single person working on maintaining
that whole system. It's very unreasonable to push demands onto one
person like that.

We are very aware of how it helps testers, however we are also very
aware that the solution is to have more people help, not more people
complain.

I'm not complaining, just notifying our fellow devs of the problem. It's
great that Bob maintains our nightly windows build, and I'm sure that's
much appreciated by everyone!

But does anyone know what currently the problem is? Is it compiling on
Windows at all (in which case any windows dev can look into this), or is
it just the automated nightly build process that's broken?
