Googling for the error message, a Spanish page turned up that may be of some help to us. See the bug comments (link above) for details. Now since I don't speak Spanish, can I ask someone who does to translate the (short) letter on that page?

I fixed it, by changing gtk+ 2.2 to gtk+ 2.4, and on the way I installed gnome 2.6. ---------------------------
