The current issue is its getting more and more difficult to maintain... While the wiki serves a place it may be best to can it for now and start over in the near future..... Just my thoughts....

We need to do something, of the last 1000 changes yesterday over 550
were me blocking spam accounts or deleting spam pages, pretty much all
the rest were spam acc sign ups. we may as well not have a public
registration page for all the good its doing us.

Probably the best solution is to kill the current wiki. Install a new
more solid wiki (if people wish so) and move usable content to the new
wiki while dropping outdated and unusable stuff.
Literally dozens of bogus accounts and a couple of spam pages a day
(for quite some time already)...

We really need to do something with regards to the wiki making it
harder to sign up spam accounts, we seem to be getting a couple of

I dont want to stop people being able to sign up easily, but at the
same time, the way we currently has it seems to be balanced all wrong.
Who is it that has admin rights for stuff like wiki extensions and the
base settings?

Anyone?

AFAIK our website & wiki admin is Ian Caldwell, who can be reached at
inchosting@...400..., but he doesn't have a lot of time to do
anything. Maybe we could negotiate with him to give one of our people
higher access to the website & wiki server.
