I compiled with the latest devlib and it didn't help (on Vista or XP). I then reverted the devlib back to the beginning of Sept before the GTK was updated but running "build" went through the motions of compiling but the end result was an empty Inkscape folder.

Like I said, I'm a bit of noob. If you can offer some more specific information on how I can go about trouble shooting this, I would really appreciate it.
