Sounds great, but yes we need to wait for Preview before it becomes default.

Hi,
After I get this compile problem in the latest SVN code resolved, my Win32 native file dialogs patch will be ready. For several reasons it's taken me quite a while to get to this stage - much longer than I'd usually expect a task like this to take.
The code that I have allows the Windows user to Open, Save, and Save a Copy with the system native dialog box. Once this patch has been applied we will be able to close bugs #1721266, #1250236 and #1091139, so I'm quite keen to apply the patch.
However, the dialogs do not yet have a link to the "examples" or "templates" folders, and they have no file preview support right now. I plan to add both these things as soon as possible - now I've got all the tricky GTK->Win32 gotchas ironed out, it should be relatively easy. My question is, are people happy to have this patch applied now? ... or do they want to wait until all the bells and whistles are present?
Thanks Joel
