I'm not an expert on these kind of things, but I do not see a libpng in your list. I only see libpng12 and libpng3, and you do have libpng-devel. Maybe it's  libpng-1.2.3-4.35.1 that is missing?

But still no luck. Is the configure script looking for libpng's devel files somewhere strange?
