I don't buy much online, just for general safety reasons. So I'm not familiar with how these stores work. But I was expecting something like a mail order catalog. They wouldn't sell very much without a decent image Plus description. You should see some descriptions that are used (at least for women-focused products) - they make you think an item is something you've wanted your whole life and never knew it - so you'll buy it. Compared to those, spreadshirt has a lot of catching up to do!
My novice impression of spreadshirt is not good, although I'm quite sure you've tweaked it to whatever perfection is possible. I'll be interested to learn what the products you guys ordered looks like.
I think there must be places online where you can submit your own images to be displayed for your t-shirt; because we've fielded exactly this question in the forum, about how to make the design look like it's really applied to the shirt, in the most realistic way possible. I've seen the question posted by at least 2 different people. I could try and search them out, if it would be helpful, to find out which store they were going to use (although they're probably at least 2 years old - so the stores might not be around anymore).
