Hi,
Probably I should split this email into two emails, but here it goes :)
- Is there any particular reason for having fixed minimum size of
Inkscape's window?
Not all the widgets in there are placeable in a standard toolbar. As soon as a spinbox wrapper is done, we can switch things to GTK+ Actions and use standard toolbars that will shrink properly.
However, this is already covered by at least one entered bug: [ 1469554 ] fixed length toolbars prevent working on narrow screens
Checking the bugs and RFE's first is probably a good thing.
- There is a wasted space between toolbar's handle and the first item
in Tools toolbar (the context sensitive one), see attached screenshot. That doesn't happen in case of Selector. Can we do something about it?
Once we switch to stock toolbars, then it will be worth working on such nits (any that don't already disappear in that process, that is).
