One blocker on Windows XP. The branch still fails to compile with the following errors:

Make error line 302: problem compiling: src/extension/internal/emf-win32-inout.cpp: In function 'int Inkscape::Extension::Internal::myEnhMetaFileProc(HDC__*, HANDLETABLE*, ENHMETARECORD*, int, LPARAM)': src/extension/internal/emf-win32-inout.cpp:779: error: 'struct Inkscape::Extension::Internal::emf_callback_data' has no member named 'outdef'

Fixed in r9809.
