Okay, so we can think of a gradient mesh as points of color that are adjustable in their length and path of the color. There can potentially be multiple colors all over the area of the object, each contributing to a complex color created within.
Okay, so I've been thinking about this more - and I don't think that this could get full gradient meshes. I think that it could create significantly complex color that is 'gradient mesh like'. I'll go ahead and tag it as a 'gradient field'.
Now, the question is: Is this useful? Do you think it's just a half-assed gradient mesh or is it something that extends the artistic tools available in Inkscape?
