Thanks for bringing that up... AFAIK we all get merge request emails already. I know I have seen a number over time when there are branches I had no previous knowledge about. Sending to the list seems redundant. Are people's spam filters catching them?

I *think* the key part is to request a code review from "inkscape.dev" then all inkscape developers (in the launchpad group) get an email if their emails settings allow it. This would allow a per developer setting for merge review emails. If this is not the case I don't know how/why I have received previous [merge] emails from launchpad.

I have the required privileges at Launchpad, but can't help if it also
requires messing with the mailing list settings at Sourceforge.
