- Does this count as a tutorial? (just wondering if I can use an
existing tutorial template)
Not really. It just explains how the different types of tracing work. A step-by-step tutorial would only last as long as the GUI does not change, anyway.
Makes sense... please know though, that I'd be willing to maintain a tracing tutorial if you guys would like that. However, if you think the GUI will change significantly and often, I can definitely see it being a pain for maintenance.
- Should I worry about "graphics"? Meaning, should I show examples
of
how the settings affect the options? (of course only really showing differences in results, unless it's okay to include raster images... which I doubt we'd want to mess with)
Again, this may not be necessary. The general idea I want people to know, is to start with a light trace, and gradually get darker
(more
complex) as they become more accustomed to it.
Ok... well I'll start with what you provided and we'll go from there.
Would this be labeled as something along the lines of a quick-start guide for tracing then? (wondering for the purpose of pretty header and footer, as well as curious as to location in the help menu)
Thanks!
