Hello, I'm having problems trying to RPM &/or

inkscape in Yoper linux. I have a thread going on

As Bryce said, there is an autopackage you can use
here:
http://navi.cx/~mike/inkscape/0.39/inkscape-0.39.package Alternatively if you want the bleeding edge of
Inkscape
development try this: http://navi.cx/~mike/inkscape/inkscape-0.40cvs.package
I tried that, & keep getting "Could not find 'libsigc C++ callback library'" 1) There is no such package for Yoper yet 2) I config/make/make install libsigc-1.2.so5 (I think from Debian?) sucessfully, but inkscape-0.39.package still couldn't find it. 3) I I config/make/make install libsigc++-2.0.3 (from Sourceforge), but inkscape-0.40cvs.package still couldn't find it. both libs are in usr/local/lib
Aside from switching distros (1 last go with Yoper), any other ideas? cheers
