Excellent idea !

Sorry that I couldn't test it before implemented (at the moment I lack of needed technical skilss)

ComponentTransfer is already in use in many filters (specially the customizable ones) and an UI like in Gimp would be very interesting for some of them, particularly Discrete and Table. Of course numeric entries like in XML Editor could remain very useful too for those whi need specific kind of curve.
