
Well, I certainly see no harm in this. I'm still puzzled about the usefulness of the results, but there's certainly no harm done.
I don't think I pushed Victor hard at all. I was just trying to help him understand how a survey could be helpful to the community. But that was apparently going to take more time or energy than he was prepared to offer.
I think the results will be interesting.

Thanks for sharing your results. The sample set may not make much of a bell-curve, but it's certainly given us something to discuss.
I think perhaps this gives us some feedback on how hard we push new contributors. If there's no harm, then I don't mind a contributor developing independently, it's somewhat of a project philosophy here in inkscape.
The project will perhaps always be bits we like and bits we don't get.
