What's even better is that if something somebody else does has a side effect on work you've done in the past, but you still need to fix it (may or may not be true in my tref case, but let's go with it for now), they can find out way sooner.  I hate that it's been sitting so long and now so close to release! I love the idea personally, especially for open source style development.

I like the idea in principle, but I have no idea if this is possible
with our SVN host (sourceforge).
