I've updated the Stable PPA. All supported Ubuntu releases have built correctly.

It is pretty cool to be announcing the 0.48.4 release of Inkscape. It's a great bug fix release, which will hopefully tide people over until the upcoming 0.49. There are a ton of bug fixes in this release including one security fix, so it is recommended that everyone currently using 0.48.3 or older upgrade tho this release.
As per custom please avoid announcing this widely until platform packagers have a chance to make binaries for people to download.
