I agree the others in this discussion. The saturated color of the second one is easy on the eyes (not too bright). I also think it best represents the idea of what Inkscape is, with the program's tools displayed in an attractive manner, and the cloud with the selection box behind it is a particularly inspired touch. It's also very cool.
#3 has some tools, but they're blurred out, and the Inkscape text isn't prominently displayed.
#1 is okay, it's a fine piece of art, but I don't think it's appropriate for the program.
