Did you noticed the tooltips? They are supposed to be helpful.

Okay, I'll put a warning notice, but this is only a workaround. The real fix is a progress bar with the image being processed in a background thread. I can do that after I learn about Gtk+ event loop and how to pass messages with the gui thread.
