Felipe, I'm at the hackfest in Boston for this FSF Gnu Birthday. I'm
going to be working on the align/distribute and one of the new designs
is to integrate the functionality into the Measurement tool. Since it's
one of the only tools that doesn't use any of it's selection and had no
on-canvas functionality yet.

I'd like to talk to you more about this design if you have the time.
