I haven't heard about uberconverter lately.
That would be firstly because it is now named VectorSection (http://vectorsection.org/) and secondly because I've been working on an open-source cross-platform e-book reader platform dotReader (http://dotreader.com/) for the last several months.
You mention in the GSOC for the pdf export to use crs2pdf.
Could you tell what is the status (svg2crs) and where I can read something about crs format to generate a crs2something. I guess it does not depend on rel but on the crs format only. Right?
See the vectorsection site and svn repository. At the moment, the best way to understand the format is to read the code and play with svg2crs.
