thanks for adding that, but I think a menu command which unexpectedly switches tools is not a good idea. No other menu commands do that, it just does not fit into the UI we have. I propose that instead of a command, we just add a toggle button to the Node controls bar which would switch it to editing clip/mask and back (and would be grayed out if there's no clip/mask).

Good point. Well, place them anywhere you want. I'm bad at UI issues. In any case, I think with multiple path editing, the buttons/commands can be removed. Because I feel it would be much better to always show masks/clip when node editing a path.
