Scatter vs. Pattern along Path Extensions
Hi,
Can anybody tell me the difference between the Scatter and Pattern along Path extensions? They look almost identical.

Just did a google search yesterday: http://math.univ-lille1.fr/~barraud/Inkscape/pathdeform/
Pattern along path: "... bends a path according to another (notice that this feature is now availbale right in inkscape via "live path effects"!!!; however, groups are not handled yet, so this script might still be usefull for complex or color full patterns...)"
Scatter: "... similar, but the path is not deformed: it is just stamped along the second path."
