Thanks for the reply; my fears are put to rest ;)
I will resend the message when I get back home (assuming it is still in my sent box), this time with links. I'm currently in Montreal competing in CS Games!
Cheers everyone!

Hi everyone,
I posted a reply about the 3D tools idea a while back with some screenshots. I think the message had to go through the moderator because the two images were slightly higher than the max. Since then, I have not received any messages from the mailing list.
I didn't see that message in my mailbox - can you please resend it? I think it's better to post screenshots to some web site and include links to the mail.
My question is has something gone wrong for me?
Nothing whatsoever :)
Or has activity been low? I have not even seen my own message make its way back to me. I also couldn't see the archives off the web page.
I'm also seeing few messages recently - this may be a lull in activity, or it may be some problems with the sourceforge server (such things happened before).

Ok, I'm still in Montreal, but I got Internet access with my own computer, so I figured I'd send this along now. I actually don't have the email I originally sent anymore, but the idea was that I was excited about the 3D tools idea that came up earlier in the week. I took some screen shots of the two basic tools in DRAW - extrude and perspective. I was wondering if this was the kind of thing that you imagined. I don't think the UI is the greatest on those tools so there is a lot of potential to do something similar but with better usability.
The basic pics are here (showing the tools used on a rectangle): http://gbanaszk.oasis.nexus.carleton.ca/SummerOfCode/DrawExtrude.png http://gbanaszk.oasis.nexus.carleton.ca/SummerOfCode/DrawPerspective.png
I also saw the multi-page thing and thought that would be a big bonus. I know that a huge plus of DRAW over Illustrator is this ability.
The DRAW import is an interesting prospect. Is this ever something a company wants to "help" an open source project with? I imagine they don't really want their format out do they? Not sure how that all works.
Cheers! Gail
