Hi,
Some more unlocalizable strings from current CVS:
Ruler tooltips: "Pixels", "Millimeters", "Points", "Centimeters", "Meters", "Inches"
Swatches dialog: "small", "medium", "large", "huge", "List", "Grid"
File type descriptions when saving document ("Compressed Inkscape SVG", ...)

Those strings are in the .inx files, which I haven't figured out how to localize yet. I think that we should be able to parse them as XML files using gettext -- but I haven't looked into it enough.
It's on my TODO list, but not towards the top. If anyone would like to look into this it'd be great. It would also allow localizing the names in the Effects menu, and the autogui dialogs for extensions.
