Can't login to inkscape wiki
Hi,
FYI. Tried to add to the docs on the inkscape wiki, turned cookies on and all that, and once I logged in the next page would say I was logged in and then the page after I'd be logged out again.

Sorry, I botched that. Please try again. Thanks for the report.

Ok. Works. See my edit "Adjusting the Canvas Size to Fit Your Image" at:
http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/TricksAndTips#Adjusting_the_Canvas_S...
(Be nice if there was just a button to do this on the Document Preferences window.)

I'm still working on the more general interface for the Filter tool.
I suspect that will be an area where we'll have to actually experiment in production for a while to find out what works and what doesn't. I think the UI requirements for manipulating an SVG filter network may be unique -- the closest analogue would perhaps be signal routing in some pro audio apps, but SVG filters have additional restrictions (like filter "nodes" being ordered, and only being able to make connections "forward").
There are graphs in compositors like Shake and now Blender: http://www.dreaminmaniax.de/blender/nodes.jpg
If the order realy needs to be expressed graphicaly, one could arrange the graph strictly from left to right, with always one node in a collumn.

Hah. You're kidding, right? If not, check out version 0.44 where just such a button has been added.
Nope, not kidding. I'm at 0.42.
Thanks.
