Hi! I'm a "new" user of inkscape and I saw that the italian translation is not complete, there many words/expressions that aren't translated. I would to translate... But, what have I to do?? Is the first time that I work on a project and I'm not a programmer :-))
Let me know, Sergej
Ps: greetings from italy Pps: forgive my english!

The translation of the user interface is in a .po file with the name of the langauge, in your case it.po. You can download that file from: http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/inkscape/inkscape/po/
It's a plain text file so you could use a plain text editor to translate it, but there are many tools that can help you not to mess up the format: poedit (poedit.sourceforge.net), available forn Linux and windows, gtranslator (for Linux/GNOME) , KBabel (for Linux/KDE). Choose your favorite.
